Music has always been more than background noise to me. It sets the tone, creates connection, and turns ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences.

I’m DJ Kelly Kellz, also known as The Vibe Curator. I began my DJ journey in 2005, rooted in Hip Hop, R&B, and Dancehall, and over the years, my sound has expanded into an open-format experience that moves seamlessly through Afrobeats, Soca, House, Pop, EDM, Go-Go, and more. Whether I’m setting the mood at an intimate gathering or commanding a packed dance floor, my goal is always the same: to create the right energy for the people in the room.

Based in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area, I provide professional DJ entertainment for private celebrations, corporate events, upscale social experiences, destination events, lounges, and select karaoke engagements. Every event is different, so I take the time to understand the audience, the atmosphere, and the experience my client wants to create. My approach combines thoughtful music selection, strong crowd awareness and polished service from the first conversation through the final song.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to perform across the United States and internationally, including events in Jamaica, Aruba, the Cayman Islands and the Bahamas. I’m proud to serve as an Earlybirds Resident DJ and to be affiliated with the International DJ Café DMV Chapter and Grown & Sexy DJs.

What I love most about DJing is watching people connect through music: the moment a favorite song comes on, the crowd sings every word, or the dance floor suddenly becomes the place everyone wants to be. Those are the moments I curate!
